Brief Answer:
Diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
I have reviwed the reports of your father in law.
There are two problems:
1. HbA1c is raised means he is a diabetic. You have not mentioned that in medical history. However diabetes is under good control.
Give me details of his diabetes and his medications

2. His Liver enzymes are slightly raised. I suppose that can be due to Statins (Atovastatin) the drug for cholesterol that he must be taking as is evident by his well controlled lipid profile and also since he had heart attack previously so must be taking.
In case he consumes alcohol he should avoid.

Rest investigations attached are within normal lipid.
Also I would advise you to share if any particular issue you want to discuss.
Stay Healthy.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In such scenario I advice you following:
1. To take a diabetic diet. He should avoid sweets , rice, potatoes , sugar
2. To get his HbA1c every 6 months to keep a watch on his average blood sugar levels.
3. If this HbA1c is without any medications he doesn't require to take any medicine for diabetes.
4. If he had heart attacks previously he has to be on Medicines like Aspirin and Atorvastatin. They are indispensable for him. Just ask him in case he takes any medicine like Ecospirin-AV.
5. Get his new ECG. Start him on Ecospirin-AV.
6. Ask him not to consume alcohol of he does.
7. To get his Liver function test repeated after 1 month.
If you have any further query please ask me.
