Suggest Treatment For Diaper Rash In A 8 Month Old Child

Question: My son came home with the beginning of a diaper rash on 5/7/16 so I put A&D and cornstarch baby powder for a few days but it is not getting any better. His pediatrician can't get us in until Monday. What kind of rash is this? What do I do over the weekend? I got some clotrimazole from Walgreens yesterday as I suspect yeast. I've put it on him twice. Is it okay? Do I continue this? If so, how often? He's a week shy of 8 months old. I've attached a picture. The tip of his penis (uncircumcised if relevant) is also red very similar to rash.

Is it a yeast rash or regular rash? If I don't use a diaper for a week what would I put on him to catch his urine and bowel movement?
Brief Answer:
Cotton cloth
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.
This is not fungal rash, it's a diaper rash.
You should make him wear cotton underwear for a week.
This will definitely help you.
Take care.
