Suggest Treatment For Diaper Rash In A Child
Question: Hi
my son is 2 month old. We are using Lobate gm from past 1 month before putting diaper on him. I saw online that regular use of lobate will have side effects .
Please advice best gell or medicine to avoid diaper rash and infection on corners of thighs and private area of child.
I have also heard of zicon dusting powder, will that help.

I would not recommend long term use of Lobate Gm which is anti fungal preparation. Anti- fungal are only to be used in proven diaper rash due to fungus.
I would recommend the following for prevention of diaper rash
1. Diaper free time: 1-2 hours minimum per day
2. Local Application of Zinc Oxide paste like Dr Smith's Zinc oxide paste is highly effective in preventing diaper rash
