Question: hi, my son aged 4 year, suffering from loose motion from last 3days and passing 6-7 episode in a day. I have given him half XXXXXXX of econorm but no relief so far. plz advice?

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Diarrhea causes dehydration from the loss of too much fluid from the body.
Symptoms of dehydration are
1) Dry mouth Dry skin.
2) Decrease urination (for example, none in 12 hours) and and a darker, concentrated urine.
3) The absence of tears.
4) Shrunken eyes.
Diarrhea is usually caused by a viral infection in children.
I advise my patient to follow these steps to prevent dehydration and to cure diarrhea.
1) Oral Re Hydrating solution (O.R.S) frequently and 10 mL/kg body weight for each watery stool .
2) Give curd , banana, sabudana water, rice water, and coconut water.
3) Continue Econorm XXXXXXX ( 250 mg) -Half XXXXXXX three times a day.
4) Racecadotril XXXXXXX 1.5 mg/kg three times a day.
(as your baby weight is 20 kg then 20x 1.5 = 30 mg three times a day.)
Your baby will fine soon
