Question: Hi. Ive been having stomach pains and noises for 4 days. My stool is runny (diarreah)and have sharp pains all across the top of my stomach. Any ideas?

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM).

It appears that you have developed acute gastroenteritis. I will advise you to get your stool examination and complete haemogram. Keep your hydration level well. Continue with Gastrolyte. For pain take antispasmodic like drotavarine. Meanwhile start probiotic. If stool and blood examination suggest infection take a course of antibiotic like ofloxacin
