Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Getting Pregnant Due To PCOD

Oxetol should not be used during pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The delay in conception is due to PCOD. She needs treatment for this. She can continue taking orofer and D3. It will also increase the blood flow during periods.
Tests like ovulation study are needed after taking the ovulation inducing drugs. Do get these prescribed from her gynecologist.
She should stop taking Oxetol while trying for pregnancy and even during pregnancy. This can cause fetal malformations. It is best to ask yoru neurologist to give her a safer drug.

It can cause structural defects in baby.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Use of oxetol during pregnancy can cause fetal structural abnormalities and other manifestations of developmental toxicity (embryolethality/ fetal death, growth retardation). Such side effects are seen with all the anti epileptic drugs. The only way is to reduce the doses to minimum required doses, continue taking folic acid and plan for pregnancy.
Hope my answer is helpful.
