Suggest Treatment For Discoloration And Dryness Of Skin On Knuckles
Question: i have discolored and dry skin on my knuckles for years. Sometimes condition goes away and than comes back again. I think it started years ago after i was doing many installations of dishwashers. My hands were often in dirty water with all the stuff that could be under dish-washing machines

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have checked the attached images. You seem to have a fungal infection which is associated with allergic reaction to the soap water of the dishwasher or due to repeated exposure to water. You need to keep your hands dry. Avoid exposure to soap water. Take cetirizine tablet once daily for a few days when there is a flare up. During those conditions also apply candid (clotrimazole) lotion over the affected area. Gradually the condition will get corrected.
Hope that helps.
