Suggest Treatment For Discrete Red Bumps On Torso

Question: my daughter came and showed this to me on her back does she need to go to er?
Brief Answer:
Bacterial skin infection Or Inflammed acne; Oral and topical antibiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Images.
I can see multiple, grouped, discrete, red bumps on her torso. They seem like a bacterial skin infection i.e furuncle Or they could be inflammatory acne.
Are they painful? How long since they appeared?
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest an Oral antibiotic e.g Amoxicillin 500mg or Cephalexin 500mg, thrice daily, for a week. Topically she may use an antibacterial cream e.g 2% mupirocin cream Or Neosporin ointment, twice daily.
Regards

they itch and I saw them at 8pm last night those bumps are on her top right shoulder
Brief Answer:
bacterial skin infection; oral and topical antibacterial
Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thank you.
I would like to treat this as a case of bacterial skin infection (in this case furuncles), with oral and topical antibacterials as suggested.
Itching can be a symptom of a bacterial skin infection such as a furuncle or a folliculitis, even though pain is more commonly linked with it.
