Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.
There are many reasons of loss of balance in the body including but not limited to:
*Heart failure sometimes leads to decreased pumping function and it leads to compromised blood supply to the brain causing loss of optimal brain function and confusion. It leads to symptoms you have.
*Cerebellum is the main area that controls the gait and balance walking in a straight line, especially when the eyes are closed too. If there is some lesion involving the cerebellum, it may lead to balance and gait issues.
*Vestibulocochlear nerve is related to balance of body. Some tumor or other infectious disease involving cerebellopontine angle area, may damage this nerve and issues like you are facing will start.
*Decreased hemoglobin or red blood cells may also lead to some of the symptoms you have.
