Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Blurred Vision
orthostatic hypotension
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You are concerned about feeling dizzy when getting up from a squatting position. This is called orthostatic hypotension and is to be expected when going from a squatting position to standing. When you are in a squatting position you get pooling of blood in your stomach area and legs. Then when you go to standing youru body can't compensate for the change in position to allow for blood to flow to your head. This loss of blood pressure to your head makes you dizzy and vision to blacken. When the blood pressure returns in a few seconds your dizziness resolves along with your vision. This is very normal and nothing to be concerned about
