Brief Answer:
About reactive hypoglycemia:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking.
I have gone through your concern.

You are right, from the symptoms you described it looks like hypoglycemic event that happens often at the females especially when staying long without eating.

A general check up doesn't help in confirmation of this, but you should check the blood sugar at that moment.

If it's under 70 mg/dl, hypoglycemia is confirmed.

Meanwhile :

- Eat a well-balanced diet, including lean and nonmeat sources of protein, and high-fiber foods, including whole grains, fruits and vegetables.

- Avoid sugary foods, especially on an empty stomach.

- Be sure to eat food if you're consuming any alcohol, and avoid using sugary soft drinks as mixers.

- Eat several small meals and snacks throughout the day, no more than three hours apart during the waking hours.

Most people will try to find out what dietary changes are helpful for them to minimize the symptoms.

Hope I have been helpful. Feel free to ask further.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta

Brief Answer:
There is no reason to be overly concerned.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back!
It is common in females, especially when they are overweight or obese.
These females has a slightly higher risk of developing Diabetes later.
Especially if other risk factor are present (obese. family history for type 2 Diabetes ect).
So in these cases we recommend to keep a normal weight in order to prevent a type 2 Diabetes in the future and try to follow the above suggestions.

Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
