Brief Answer:
sounds like methanol poisoning

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.

I think the symptoms and the history are quite suggestive of a methanol poisoning.
Methanol is very frequently mixed up in alcoholic drinks. This is actually a poison that affects the eyed first.

I would definitely recommend that you meet a neurologist urgently. The damage needs to be seen on an MRI.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.

As I have said the methanol poisoning may be causing the symptoms. We need to start the treatment immediately cause the damage to the nerves can be reversed only if brought to the notice fast. And you need to meet a neurologist cause it's basically a nerve damage.
