Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.
I think the symptoms and the history are quite suggestive of a methanol poisoning.
Methanol is very frequently mixed up in alcoholic drinks. This is actually a poison that affects the eyed first.
I would definitely recommend that you meet a neurologist urgently. The damage needs to be seen on an MRI.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
