Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. I am unable to understand, does he have spasms in the eyelids or other locations. Can you please specify.
2. For dry eyes, to prevent epithelial damage, moisture is important. He can use artificial tears. Avoiding exposure to dust and wearing glasses is important. Needs to take good amounts of fluids to maintain good hydration.
Need to continue treatment. Would require more details for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.

Thank you so much for the email. Actually my dad has spazam which causes dry eyes, and sometimes in the night he has little trouble breathing through the nose.
I was thinking is there any medicine or natural way to treat spazam better.

Brief Answer:
Check nose for deviated nasal septum
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.
Spasms of the eyelids are usually because of contraction of the muscles of the eyelids. The common causes for this contraction are stress, excessive use of caffeine. The rare causes that needs to be ruled out are the neurological causes like hemifacial spasms and facial tics.
The common modes of treatment are to avoid stress and to restrict the use of caffeine containing drinks like coffee.... Use of vitamin supplements and antioxidants is of help.
Need to check the nose for any deviated nasal septum. Meet an ENT specialist to rule out any nasal cause.
Hope it helps.
