Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached picture.
Sorry but the picture quality is not that great .
I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition.
Please click some close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page .
I need some good resolution pictures so that we can differentiate between fungal infection and chronic eczema .

Hi Dr. Paul!
Thanks for your swift reply. As you can imagine taking close up pictures at that exact area is challenging;) I've attempted to take a few more this morning. I hope they are clearer:-)
If all else fails, I'm pretty sure the condition is chronic eczema rather than the fungal infection. (At least I'm hoping;) I'll look forward to your follow up!

Hi again
Thanks for the pictures .
I have had a closer look at the pictures .
I suspect an eczematous fungal infection in your case .
Such a case needs to be managed by a combination therapy.
I would advise you to mix and apply cortisone and clotrimazole cream twice daily for atleast two weeks .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating and prevent further infection .
Hope it helps
