Brief Answer:
Please upload an image

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It seems that keratosis is the main problem. Vitamin A deficiency could also be a factor. I would request you to upload an image of the affected areas. As of now apply some moisturizer like aloe vera lotion. Please do not try to scrape off the skin.

I will await your response.

Brief Answer:
Could be eczema. Moisturizing should help.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Let me assure you that the responses would continue to be updated on the email address provided by you and not on anything else.

I have checked the image. It could indicate eczema. Hyperkeratosis is involved. I would insist you (or her) to apply aloe vera lotion. If itchiness is present you/she should take cetirizine or some antiallergic tablet once daily. If that does not suffice medicines like topical corticosteroids, topical calcineurin inhibitors (TCIs) and systemic oral drugs might be needed. In such a case it would be advisable to visit a dermatologist for the same.
