Posted on Sat, 6 Jun 2015
Question: Hello, starting monday of this week I noticed that I had a slight dull pain in my left abdomin about 6 inches below the rib cage. It was a sharp pain when I pushed in. This lasted until thursday. The pain eased up starting yesterday and basically non-existent today. BUT last night into this morning I now have green colored stool. Not sure if related or something I need to worry about.

Brief Answer:
You need to be examined clinically. The exact location of the pain is imp

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

The pain that you are describing, could be due to gall bladder cause. It needs clinical examination. I am afraid that I would not be able to clinically examine you within the scope of this online discussion. So, I would have to insist you to visit a doctor and to get yourself evaluated by him.

The green stool is probably unrelated. It could be due to rapid transit of fecal matter through the large intestine where the bile pigments have not got enough time to get converted to the yellow pigment that normally colours our stool. I do not think you need to worry about it. Just take plenty of fluids and it should be fine.

Hope that helps.
