Question: My father has diabetes which is well under control however he has developed eczema type skin infection mainly on his foot. Its very itchy and oozes clear fluid. No skin treat is helping. We are not sure of treatments we should actually take as we could not identify root cause. I would like to know what could be causes that and what diagnosis could help identify the problem. Brief Answer:
Pruritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I read your message. It looks like your father is having PRURITIS, but untill unless we see the pic, we can't conclude. Diabetics are more prone for atopic dermatitis with blisters which can lead to clear fluid.

You can take CORT-H cream for local application for 1 week
Kindly send the pic for clear evaluation.

Get back to me if any query.

Hi,
Than you for query.
I saw the pic. Its typical dermatitis with oozing. You can continue Cort-H cream for local application.
Take tab ALLEGRA once daily to reduce itching.
If it doesn't subside within 4 days, then consult a dermatologist.
