Suggest Treatment For Ear Bleeding While Using Q Tip

Question: Hi, my finace accidentally went too deep with a Q tip last night, resulting in a few drops of blood and what seems to be blockage of the canal with impacted ear wax. We need to fly out of very remote area of Mexico (no doctors) this afternoon, and she is concerned. Any advice or tips on relieving blockage are greatly appreciated. Thanks,, XXXX

I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
The blood stain could be due to eardrum trauma caused while using Q tip. Otoscopic examination is need to confirm the ear drum damage.

I recommend the following.
1) Consult a doctor as early as possible for ear examination with otoscope.
2) Decongestant like tablet levocetrizine with phenylephrine.
3) Avoid self cleaning with Q tips.
4) If there is a pain use analgesic like tablet ibuprofen can be used.

She will be fine.
