Brief Answer:
Glucose / Cholesterol

Detailed Answer:
Although your random blood glucose level seems normal, it is not sufficient to be certain of a specific diagnosis.
The HbA1c is a 3 month average glucose test. In your case it is elevated above normal at 5.9% suggesting 'Pre-Diabetes'.
5.7% or less is normal. Any value between 5.8% and 6.4% is considered Pre diabetes.
6.5% or greater is tantamount to a diagnosis of Diabetes.

Any diagnosis of an abnormal condition is supposed to be re-confirmed by repeat testing by alternative methods such as fasting glucose or '2 hour post 75 gram glucose challenge' .

Pre diabetes indicates a higher risk for the development of diabetes. In order to prevent this from happening it is important to eat healthy, engage in regular physical activity and maintain healthy body weight.

Your LDL is not very high. For a young person of your age it is acceptable as long as you do not have other risk factors such as obesity/overweight, high blood pressure, smoking and a personal / family history of heart disease or stroke.

Your HDL which represents the good cholesterol, is low at 38. To raise the HDL levels, one needs to lose weight, increase physical fitness and eat healthier.

None of your lab results here are medical emergencies but they can be improved to benefit your overall health long-term.

Brief Answer:
Follow up

Detailed Answer:
Although A1c is a fairly reliable test, it is not the gold standard is fasting glucose followed by the Glucose Tolerance test are more accurate. Roughly about 10% of individuals with pre diabetes progress to diabetes each year.
