Question: Hi,
My mom is 64 and recent blood tests, last week (Nov 20), showed a extremely high cholestrol (300) and also BP of 140. Yesterday, she felt giddiness and fell unconscious for about 3-4 min. Now we have consulted a doctor again, where he has suggested few tablets for BP and Cholestrol. Today morning, after taking the medicine, her test shows cholestrol is 230 and BP is 120 and . Since she stays alone, I am getting her to do XXXXXXX to do a consulation and overall check up. I have an appointment with Geriatrician ( hearing for the first time) in Manipal. What do you suggest, I have to check for my mother, to find the issue ? Is consulting Geriatrician fine, or should i show some kind of a specialist ?
