Suggest Treatment For Elevated Heart Rate

Nothing to be worried about
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.
This is a totally normal physiological response of the human organism. What happens during sleep? Several neuro-hormonal mechanisms act in the organism to keep it asleep. Also, there are several hormonal mechanisms to wake it up, predominated by cortizol and adrenalin, two neuro-hormonal mechanisms which, among other effects, may increase the heart rate and the blood pressure. Also, I would take the XXXXXXX to explain that a heart rate of 60-100 beats per minute is always considered normal. Furthermore, after vigorous physical activity, psychological stress etc. a higher than figures provided of heart rate, is considered normal. Actually, there is a formula for this (220-age). This means that in conditions as described above, since you are 68 years of age, it is normal to have a heart rate of 152 beats per minute. In the end, I think you have nothing to be worried about.
I hope you find my answer helpful. If you have follow-up questions, I am happy to help.
Best regards,
Dr. Meriton
