Suggest Treatment For Elevated Hemoglobin Levels

Question: What is the best treatment for an elevated hemoglobin? My friend has been eating lots of red meat. I told her to reduce red meat and substitute
beans for protein.This is a recent symptom, otherwise she has been healthy. No smoking, n drinking.Thanks
