Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
If he uses no alcohol, drugs, and takes no medications, the elevated liver enzymes are most likely from his being overweight and excess of refined carbohydrates.
It is hard to see someone you love make lifestyle choices that negatively impact their health. But the change has to come from him.
The only thing I can think of that you can do in this situation is perhaps take up some sort of fitness program that he would be willing to do with you.
Studies have shown that men have more success with weigh loss and toning up than women, who lose less weight with exercise than men do. So encouraging some activity that he likes, such as bicycling or some sport that he likes and would do over time, may be helpful.
Other than that, there isn't much you can do.
Not sure why he is not addressing the low testosterone. Low testosterone is unusual in someone his age although it can happen if there is a lot of fatty tissue which can convert hormone precursors to estrogen, which opposes testosterone. Also, marijuana can throw off testosterone, but you mentioned no drug use. But returning testosterone to a normal level may help with energy level.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
