Suggest Treatment For Emotional Disturbance In A Person With Bad Past

She is a wonderful mother of 3 & has a good husband. This is still in her mind & she admits it affects her behaviour.
She just recently (she is now 42) finally talked to me regarding the details.
She said that she has wanted to talk to her husband. I advised that she should never tell her husband but venture to speak with a professional.
Psychotherapeutic intervention gives very good results.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
1. Your daughter needs some psychotherapy. There are many interventions available today. She needs counselling. Your understanding is appreciated.
2. You were probably right in advising her about not disclosing these details to her husband.
3. This is also regarding the fact that your daughter is not suffering from some mental illness, but people today use psychotherapy to make their lives better.
4. It will be really necessary that you keep emotionally supporting her.
5. The outcomes are positive given the different forms of therapy available today.
I would appreciate your opinions on this matter.
Feel free to correspond if you have any further doubts or questions.
Thanks,
Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
