Last time i.e on Mar-2015 we met the doctor as part of regular consultation. This tiem we asked how many more months we have to use medicine and he said life long.

There was no explanation for it. I am attaching entire diagnosis report from the time we started visiting the doctor till last visit. Please look at the reports and suggest how long we have to use the medicine.

Medicine info is in the report only.

Brief Answer:
Heart may be enlarged due to many reasons like chronic hypertension etc.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Heart may be enlarged due to many reasons like chronic hypertension, cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease etc.
Chronic hypertension is one of the most commonest cause of heart enlargement.
Underlying cause should be searched and generally patient need to take medicines life long.

Your father findings also suggests low hemoglobin level (anemia).Peripheral smear of blood should also be examined to search for cause of anemia.
Empirically he can take iron rich foods like green leafy vegetable, jaggery etc.
He can also take iron-zinc combination tablet once daily. He can take one glass of lemon water along with iron tablet,it helps in better absorption of iron.
Single dose of folic acid tablet should also be taken.
If he is non vegetarian then he can also take liver etc.

Blood sugar and creatinine level are fine.
ECG findings shows tachycardia(increased heart rate),it may be due to many reasons.

There are few problems in ECHO report, this may be the reason for advising life long medication.Findings suggests mild tricuspid regurgitation, moderate pulmonary artery hypertension. It is good that his heart contractility(ejection fraction)is normal.
He is getting right medicines and he should take it regularly.Tablet digoxin is to clear congestion in heart and torsemide is to clear excess fluid from the body.

His condition is manageable and he will be fine with medicines.

Get well soon.
