Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

Question: I can not get an erection, and I have weak urine flow. I also have type two diabetes. Could a prostate condition cause both of these problems, or am I looking at more than one cause? Both started about the same time

Brief Answer:
The reasons casuing these symptoms may be different...

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.
The problem of urine flow is most probably due to prostate hyperplasia.
I think the problem of erection is not related to prostate. The increasing age and uncontrolled diabetes can be two reasons causing this problem.

You should get an ultrasound whole abdomen and uroflowmetry examination done to establish the cause of weak urinary flow.
A HbA1C levels will give your status of sugar control over past three months.
Also a penile doppler can be helpful to detect a penile vascular pathology.

Please contact your physician discuss these issues to find a cause for the problem.
Treatment would depend on the cause mainly.
Hope this answers your query.

Thanks.
