Question: hi Dr
I have a problem related to erection. I had a gf a year ago. we were so in love. sexual attraction was there. sex was amazing and satisfactory for both of us.

shortly after I broke up with her. I dated another girl but I didn't get hard erections as with my ex. when I had sex with the new girl I felt I'm not in mood. something was blocking me from being in mood.

also, work has been stressful over the last 6 months. I'm not sure if it's an ED .. or not.
.
currently, I'm on L-Arginine 1000mg 2 capsules tds .. I believe your advice will be of a great help.

Brief Answer:
It is not ED but somehow related

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

It is not ED as being not in mood and not having erections are two different things. ED is defined by not getting proper erection or not sustaining enough to have sex. In your case as I can see you are not having that attraction to your new girl friend and some thoughts (probably related to ex) prevent you to have proper sexual contact.

It can be said that that you are not able to overcome your breakup which was probably golden time in your life. It is also possible that your current gf is not sexually responsive in a manner which appeals you.

To overcome the current problems you need to re look your relationship with current girlfriend and need to talk to a counselor in detail. He will guide you in proper way. Here the mantra for proper erection is reducing stress and having healthy life style. With these simple measures I am sure you will be able to get sexual satisfaction in the way you want.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
