Sildenafil, tadalafil and udenafil are 5-PDE inhibitor group medicines.
Dose range varies depending upon age, physical fitness and severity of problem.

Sildenafil can cause some cardiac related side effects. Tadalafil is somewhat safer on that regard.All medicines can cause headache on second day. Sometime blurring of vision for short duration.
In your case there is no side effects likely. However better to take these medicines after consulting your doctor with written prescription. By chance any side effect occurs, that doctor can help you immediately.

Any one of these medicines should be taken only when you plan for sex. It should be taken 2-4 hours before intercourse. Tadalafil can be effective up to second day in many patients.

Duration of taking these tablets depends on cause of problem. Not for long period at least in your case.As suggested above you can consult psychiatrist/sexologist in personal for detail history and evaluation to get rid of your ED problem.
