Brief Answer:
Physical cause seems unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Tanks for writing again.

According to your answers, I can understand that there are no serious injuries and stress. You are younger for other causes that are commonly found in elderlies. Hypertension and uncontrolled diabetes can be the cause but I think you are not suffering from it otherwise you would have mentioned.

Sleep for 5-6 hours is less. A person should at least have sound sleep for at least 7 hours. Less sleep can cause physical and hormonal stress in body.

Another part is purely psychological: When a person faces this kind of erectile problem for the first time he would be apprehended and this continues for next time because he anticipates it and anxiety begins. Once this kind of anxiety is fixed, it will continue every time you shall have sex. So, it is a vicious cycle.

What can you do is forget everything that has happened and start a new inning. You must be able to control your anxiety by relaxation and yoga. If you are not able to control anxiety by these means you may go for drugs like anxiolytics which you can take as and when needed.

You can also make sure that your erectile dysfunction is psychological or not by performing following test: When you go for sleep at night, tie a thin strip of paper around your base of penis and fix it with tape. If your penis gets erection while sleep that is normal thing, the paper would break at some point and you shall get to know that there is nothing wrong physically because early morning erection is normal ans occurs in every man. If early morning erection is present than your erectile dysfucntion is purely psychological.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further query then feel free to ask.

Dr Ravi Soni

Hi Dr XXXXXXX

The morning erection is not present.
One more thing is i am getting burning sensation while peeing, also it feels like i have not completely peed and some amount is still remaining inside.
is urine infection the cause of this ?
Ive given my urine sample for examination and waiting for the result.
I will try to sleep longer in the upcoming days and let's see the outcome but my guess this is not the reason.

Brief Answer:
Urine infection can cause this

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing again.

Urinary tract infection can cause transient erectile dysfunction. Because you have symptoms, it is more likely the UTI.

You must also get examined by Surgeon or urologist for enlarged prostate. Though it is rare at your age but as a precautionary measure you must get examined.

It is better to wait for the urine investigation report. You should also go for Urine culture and sensitivity.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further query then feel free to ask.

Regards,
Dr Ravi Soni.
