Brief Answer:
Thorough investigation required initially.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.

I am a Gastroenterologist and would be addressing your query.
See treatment depends on cause of your erectile problem.

Sensation and urge for sex is driven by brain. From Brain the impulse is carried to spinal cord. From spinal cord that impulse reaches a nerve called pudendal nerve.Stimulation of pudendal nerves causes blood to gush into penis.
Injury any where in the above mentioned tract can cause erectile dysfunction.
Spinal cord and brain injuries can cause impotence because they interrupt the transfer of nerve impulses from the brain to the penis. Pelvic Trauma in Surgery: Surgery of the colon, prostate, bladder, or rectum, may damage the nerves and blood vessels involved in erection.
So first problem can be there in Nervous pathway or abdominal trauma.

Blood supply to a particular area is maintained by heart.Conditions that affect the heart dirrectly affects its ability to pump blood and can cause impotence. As blood flow to the penis is not enough, a person can't achieve an erection.

Pyschological cause-Performance anxiety, low self-confidence, and excess work pressure are common causes of erectile dysfunction. They can be suggestive of depression.

So answer to your question is yes it can be cured but initially we have to find out the cause of problem in your case.

Some basic investigations to be done initially are-
Doppler penis(to check blood supply)
MRI pelvis( to rule out pudendal nerve injury).
Echo cardiac(to see blood pumping by heart).
Videographic stimuation(level of erection will be noticed in controlled conditions in doctors office)
If all these tests are normal go for pyschological test and serum Testosterone level(Male sex hormone).
Please answer-
Do you feel urge for sex?
From how long are you having this problem?
Do you use to have normal erection earlier?
Sex habits?
Number of partners?
Any medication tried?
Any pressure on part of partner related to satisfaction or any other dispute you are having in your personal life ever?
Any injury to brain spinal cord pelvis or penile tissue ever?
Sleep cycle?
Perversions if any?
Any particular though that arouse you?
Any other issue you want to share?
Kindly answer the above questions for a better professional advice so that i can suggest you some medications for the time being.
Waiting.

Brief Answer:
Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hey there,
Its a short duration problem.
As you are sure that its most likely due to trauma.
i would suggest you to take high dose corticosteroid(potent anti inflammatory) along with combination of seratiopeptidase and aceclofenac for 3 days.

Trauma leads to inflammation which causes problem with erection. As inflammation settles down nerve will start conducting signals again.

Get a prescription of high dose Methyl prednisolone 16 mg thrice daily with anti inflammatory and see if you respond to it in 2-3 days.

If not relieved go for MRI.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow up answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
As explained earlier if its due to nerve injury it should respond to high dose steroid.
Lets keep our fingers crossed.
Follow up after 3 days.

Good luck.
