Question: Hi

My husband sweats excessively, especially in the underarms area, and regardless of the weather. This often leads to uncomfortable situations for him. Is there something we can do to control / stop this?

Brief Answer:
Try Aluminium chloride hexahydrate 20% lotion

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and i have understood your concern.

I suggest him to use an aluminium chloride hexahydrate 20% lotion (Drysol lotion), initially once daily at night & thereafter reducing frequency of application, depending on response.

However, if this proves inadequate Or ineffective, botulinum toxin can be injected locally. This works by inhibiting neurochemical signalling pathway involved in the mechanism of sweating.

Regards
