Suggest Treatment For Extreme Hair Loss On The Side Of Head
Question: Dear Doctor, In the past 2 months I've had extreme hair loss on only the left side of my head, from the ear/sideburn up to the temple, with significant thinning tight through the left side of my head. It's noticeable and unusual. I'm 23 years old and obviously worried. What would you think is happening?

Hi Doc,
I've uploaded the photos. Know that the thinning is like this all through that side of my head, my hair is long so it's hard to get a good look. I get an itchy scalp and even sometime it feels very sore.
Let me know what I should do. I tried minoxel drop but my scalp so itchy I couldn't take it.
Let me know what you think

Thanks doc,
I've been using the minoxidil, I must say that it's making me quite uncomfortable. The area I apply to becomes very itchy and sometimes, like now, it burns a little. Just wanted to check if this is normal or if I should stop.
Also my hair is till falling out quite a lot when i touch it or wash it. I guess it takes time.

sure thing I'll try that. All though since i started using it my hair is falling out even more. Clumps and clumps are falling out when ever i touch it. My left side is almost all gone and now it's starting on the front. How can this possibly happen in such a short time. I feel that there must be something medically wrong here. I'm getting very worried.
