Suggest Treatment For Eyelid Contact Dermatitis
Question: I have contact dermatitis on my eye lids. What can I do ?
Brief Answer:
A mild topical steroid
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You can apply a mild topical steroid such as hydrocortisone 1%. This is one of the mildest steroids, it can be applied with a q tip to ensure that it is applied accurately.
It is one of the possible recommended treatments for this condition.
In addition to the steroid cream, the following can also be done-(1) avoid rubbing or scratching
(2) only touch your eyelids with clean washed hands
(3) wash eyelids with plain water or with a cleanser for sensitive skin
Hope I have answered your query.
