Question : I woke up this morning feel uneasy. I feel fatigue. I was having chills but no fever. Stomach pains not cramps more of an achy pain hard to explain. Then I pooped. They looked like normal stools but there was a string coming out of the stool. What is wrong with me? :) Is this contagious? Please answer asap I have a 10mth old.

Seems like the start of Infection of your gut. Infection could be due to either bacteria or virus.

Most of the viral infections are self limiting , means they will become alright in 2-3 days and no medication is required . Just take plenty of fluids that's enough. But if it is a bacterial infection you require a course of Antibiotic medications.

My advise for you is wait for 2 days and see what happens. If problems persists then you need to consult your doctor and get an antibiotic prescription.

There is no need to be concerned regarding your baby. Just keep your hands clean before handling the baby.
