Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that one major cause of your fatigue may be body muscles deconditioning because of prolonged inactivity. In order to overcome this inconvenience, it is advisable to follow a properly scheduled escalating physical training program.

But, before proceeding to the above recommendation, it is necessary perform a medical check up including a careful physical exam and some tests for excluding possible underlying complications of recent health problem.

A cardiac ultrasound for evaluating overall cardiac performance and measurement of pulmonary artery pressure and right heart conditions would be helpful in excluding certain issues like pulmonary thromboembolism, any cardiomyopathies, etc.

Additional tests like:

- complete blood count (excluding anemia),
- chest X ray study (pleural effusion, pulmonary infarction, etc.),
- PCR & ESR (inflammation), etc.
- fasting blood glucose,
- AST & ALT,
- blood electrolytes level

are also required for properly clarifying this health condition.

You need to discuss with your attending physician on the above mentioned issues.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
