Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Elevated Temperature, Cold And Cough

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Nov 2014
Question: I am extremely tired and feel feverish but do not have an elevated temperature. I have had a cold for 3 weeks and the cough is hanging on. I had bronchitis but took z-pack and the yucky green/yellow stuff is now white flegm. I feel like my chemistry is out of balance. I don't smoke, drink rarely, am not depressed. Have not been as actively physically since the cold began.

Brief Answer:
generalised weakness.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic. I am Dr Ganesh

1.The feeling what you experiencing are normal after any infection / inflammation since the toxins of the infection are still in the blood so the symptoms persists.

2.As you have mentioned overall the things are getting better, in that case no need to add any medication but you have to be patient for a day or two.

3.Try taking some healthy food, more of salads, fruits, juices and spend some time in the fresh air, gradually you will start feeling better.

4.Its normall to have such feelings after any infection - like weakness, body pains, feels to lie down, loss of appetite and so on.

5.If any fever or increased in symptoms the treatment need to be changed. Otherwise you have to just wait - and you should be fine.

Good luck.
