Suggest Treatment For Fecal Impaction

Question: I took Linzess which worked for me but after i skipped a couple doses and i used the aid of laxatives to help. That helped for a few hours and i took them again but this time no stool seems to come out when i feel the urge to go. Why woukd that be?

Most likely its because of fecal impaction.A fecal impaction is a solid, immobile bulk of human feces that can develop in the rectum.You can take miralax a osmotic laxative.The primary cause of fecal impaction of the colon is constipation.In case if it also does not help go for evacuation of stools manually which involves the use of fingers to aid in the removal of stool from the rectum.Stool is emptied by gently inserting a finger into the rectum and removing it.
