Question: For a while now, out of the blue I get feeling hot, sweaty, weak and diarrhea. last about half hour. then feel fine. why is this.?

Brief Answer: hi and welcome to hcm Detailed Answer: Thanks for the query. First it can be caused by carcinoid syndrome and this is first thing to rule out. You need to check certain hormonal levels and do octreotid scan. Second it can be caused by estrogen level changes due to menopause and it can be treated by hormonal replacement therapy. Other possible causes include methabolic disoeders, diabetes, enterocolitis and certain blood disorders but you should check those 2 first so consult your gp about it. Wish you good health. Regards
