Suggest Treatment For Fever Along With Chills

Question: I have been running temp for last 4 days with chills in the evening. Temp is generally 99.5 but in the evening goes to 101. I am on parecetamol and clomax.

I have studied your case and your investigations and there are two cause of such fever. First it can be viral and other it can be Malaria or Dengue. To confirm this I would like to know little detail about your illness.
1. Are you having sneezing, sore throat or coughing?
2. Are you having chills more than one time in a day?
3. Have any one of your other member had such fever?

I did have soar throat a couple of days, which has now subsided.
Chills generally happen in the evening/ night. I am based in dubai and most of the time in air conditioned enverionment. I had recently gone down to XXXXXXX and i seem to be having this after i came back from XXXXXXX XXXXXXX i was feeling tiered for 2 days and the third day i developed fever.

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think you are most probably having a viral fever. Bodyache, sore throat and fever is sign of that. As You ate saying that you visited XXXXXXX so you might got that infection there. But evening chills are also favouring malaria. I would suggest you following.
1. Get a malaria tri dot test.
2.Drink plenty of fluid. Take a antibiotics like Ofloxacin.
3. A anti-inflammatory like Nimesulide should be taken twice daily.
4. If malaria tested positive than I would suggest you to take lumerax tablet.
Discuss doses of these drugs with your family doctor. Rest is also needed. Do not travel.

Dear doctor,

Find attached further test done. Request you to let me know further course of action. Also i do not not have fever for the last 24 hrs. I did have soar throat until a couple of days back which has now subsided but the throat irritates and wheni cough i see tiny spots of fresh blood. It has been happening since yesterday. Should i worry abt it

I have studied your reports and all of them are normal. Sore throat is not completely resolved. I would recommend you to take antibiotics to treat infection. Blood coming through cough is not normal. It is better if you can see the doctor.
