Suggest Treatment For Fever And Joint Pain
Brief Answer:
Considerations.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the query.
It sounds like your body is fighting a possible infection. This could be of viral or bacterial origin.
I am concerned about your fever over 101 degrees in light of its persistent nature. I would recommend that you visit with your primary care physician to be on the safe side.
Your doctor can perform a thorough physical exam and may request lab studies to help rule out a treatable infectious process.
If your fever worsens or if you develop shaking chills or progressive weakness then I would urge you to go to your nearest emergency room for evaluation.
Thanks again for sending the query.
Sincerely,
Dr Galamaga

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
I'm glad to see that you were seen in person.
The Zpak should cover for a bronchitis or even pneumonia.
If the chest pain continues it should be evaluated by your doctor. In the absence of being able to examine you in person I am not able to determine the cause of the chest discomfort.
Sincerely,
Dr Galamaga
