Hello, greetings!
Thanks for posing your query in hcm.
It looks like your brother is suffering from an episode of viral fever.
You may give him Ibuprofen+ Paracetamol tablet combination thrice a day for the fever and bodyache.
Also, he may take over the counter antihistaminics like tablet Fexofenadine 120 mg twice a day after food for 3 days.
He may go for betadine gargles to be done twice a day also, salt water gargling in the night time.
Let him have plenty of fluids to keep himself well hydrated.
Viral fever usually resolves on its own in around a few days and antibiotics are not needed.
If fever persists for over 4-5 days, then he may get a blood test and throat swab culture test done.
