Brief Answer:
Typhoid is unlikely in your case.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of typhoid is less.
Abdominal pain is characteristic feature of typhoid fever. You are not having abdominal pain, so possibility of typhoid fever is less.
Possibility of Upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is more in your case.
And you are taking correct treatment. Ampilox CV is good antibiotic. It will work in both URTI and typhoid.
So continue this drug for 7 days.
Drink plenty of fluids orally.
Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
