Suggest Treatment For Fever, Diarrhea And Mottled Skin In A Child

Mottled skin can be due to dehydration associated with diarrhoea
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM
I completely understand your concerns. Your child seems to be suffering from an infective episode leading to fever followed by diarrhoea episodes. It looks more like a viral illness as the fever has improved within 2-3 days. It would be better if you can upload the reports and picture of your child for my reference.
Mottled skin can be due to the episodes of diarrhoea and poor oral intake of fluids leading to dehydration.
I would recommend you to give your child regular feeds and oral rehydration therapy such as lemonade, soups, buttermilk etc. Avoid sweetened juices and refined sugars as they may precipitate toddlers diarrhoea.
Continue with Omnicef for the time being as possibility of bacterial infection cannot be ruled out. Also start a probiotic such as enterogermina twice daily.
In case the mottling doesn't improve and is associated with cold hands and feet with high core body temperature, I would recommend you to go for a proper examination by pediatrician to rule out any serious illness.
Hopefully this will help you.
Take care
