Brief Answer:
Continue giving medicines for fever, observe for other symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for asking on this platform

Most common cause of fever in this age is some viral infection. In viral infection fever remains of high grade for initial 3-4 days and then starts declining.
Fever may be the only symptom during first one or two days and then other symptoms like cough, pain abdomen, loose stool, rashes etc start appearing.
Based on symptoms medicine is needed.
So I would suggest you to give medicines for fever.
Check the dose of medicine as lower dose may not be effective. Dolo contains paracetamol and should be the first choice for fever. The dose of paracetamol is 10-15 mg/kg/dose and can be repeated at an interval of 4-6 hours depending on the severity.
If fever recurs/persists even after giving paracetamol other medicine like ibuprofen can be given. But better it should be avoided particularly if there is Dengue epidemic(ibuprofen can cause decrease in platelet count).
Give plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration, this also helps in decreasing the temperature. Do tepid sponging. It is very effective and sponging should be done all over the body not only to forehead.
If fever persists longer or if you notice any other significant symptoms please contact your physician.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Wishing for your child's good health.
Regards
