Brief Answer:
yes you can
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Let me answer both your questions
1. You can give Taxim o along with cold and cough medicines Which you are currently giving. Taxim o is antibiotic which your doctor has prescribed rightly after examining your child.
2. Yes you can and should give for 5 days. Stopping in one or two days is not advisable. Antibiotics have to be given as a course for 5 days.
The other cold and cough medicines can be stopped if symptoms settle.
I do hope your daughter will get better soon.
Wishing her good health.

Dr Arun

Thanks Doctor. As we felt Ascoril-LS was increasing the cough, Doctor changed the medication to Deletus-D. After changing this, it seems cough was not frequent lke before, but still we are monitoring. Will this have any side affect or Will the Deletus-D can be continued?
