Suggest Treatment For Fever, Weakness, Gas And Difficulty In Walking
Question: Dr. I was suffering from fever probably due to gastric problem/ viral . I have no fever now but there is a weakness it is difficult to walk. There is also a gas problem n food is not getting digested easily . kindly advise. regards Dev XXXXXXX ph no 0000, e-mail YYYY@YYYY

I understand your concern.
You possibly seem to have muscle weakness secondary to Viral fever.
I advise you to get serum electrolyte evaluation for documenting any disturbances that might contribute to difficulty in walking.
This possibly might not be related gastric problem.
Pantoprazole is a good drug.You need to continue it for at least 21 days.
The Gastric symptoms in your case need further evaluation through upper Gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Further management is based on test results.
Meanwhile to improve digestion Enzyme supplement syrup can be taken.
I generally prescribe Syrup Aristozyme to my patients.Please check with your physician if he shares my view and can prescribe them to you.
