Suggest Treatment For Fever,headache And Stomache In A Child

Question: Doctor, my daughter is suffering from fever and vomitting. Her doctor prescribed Azilide-XL 200 Redimed, Domstal, Junior Lanzol 15 and ORS solution, Gave her all the above still she have fever, headache and stomach ache, can I giver her calpol 250mg?

Welcome to the healthcaremagic
Abovementioned medicines do not contain antipyretic which are required to reduce fever.So you can give syp calpol to reduce fever in the dose of 10-15 mg/kg/dose.If fever doesn't decrease after one hour of calpol then at that time mefenamic acid syrup can be given.
Normal it take 2-3 days for the medicines to act.So if Shr doesn't respond after 60 hours of azilide then again take her to doctor for reacessment

Thank you doctor, yesterday night she didn't sleep, was having high fever and was laughing while sleeping. She is having severe headache and pain in eyes, stomach ache also. Could you please suggest me the food I can give her? Early morning she vomitted yellow color, now have fever also

You can give her fresh home made curd rice,idli,dosa,khichadi,all fruits and juices. If she doesn't eat anything then at least give lots of water to maintain good hydration.If she is more than two years old then you can give pediasure supplement in milk.It will give calories and fasten recovery as well
