Brief Answer:
Stop unnecessary medications and start activities

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Any medications being taken to be completely stopped to avoid possibility of drug induced fever.

2. Only if fever crosses 100… then only tylenol can be started.

3. At this age, fever can be debilitating. Mild activities could help improve morale and appetite.

4. Protein rich diet with vit c and A supplements could contribute towards increased energy and stamina.

5. Activities, family support, multiple small meal intake and avoiding unnecessary rest could help in improvement.

6. Check hemoglobin levels. Hope she has no other chronic conditions. Digestive Enzymes can be taken to improve appetite. If she has any acidity, cold milk or less spicy diet will be helpful. Avoiding unnecessary medications could help.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
