Question: Hi. I tore my ACL and Miniscus last year and I reinjured it a week ago. Now it seems like there is fluid buit up around it and I wanted to know if there is anything I can do at home to get the fluid to go away so I don't have to go get it drained cause im kind of freaked out about that.

Brief Answer: Wrap crepe bandage for compression. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for your query. For fluid to go away wrap crepe bandage for compression around the knee to reduce the swelling. Do not wrap it too tight or too loose. Elevate the limb over two pillows while lying down. Do icing to reduce inflammation and swelling. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
