Suggest Treatment For Food Poinsoning
Question: Last night after eating hot dogs at around 1:00am Pacific time, I developed the feeling in my throat like a pill stuck in the back of it. Went to Urgent Care this afternoon and the doctor could find no sign of an object. Feeling is still there now as well as vomiting and diarrhea. What could cause this?
Brief Answer:
No worries, just food poisoning. BRAT diet
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. if the foreign body is ruled out then no worries. Food poisoning is the likely explanation and with its presentation of diarrhea and vomiting, this foreign body type sensation is very common. Just take some aspirin gargles and garlic water mouth rinses and maintenance of fluids and electrolytes and BRAT diet till recovery ( Banana Rice Applesauce and Toast) is advised.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Thank you, that takes a load off my mind. I am still concerned that I had the lump in the back of my throat 15 hours prior to the start of vomiting. The pill stuck in the back of my throat feeling started about 1:45am. First vomiting was about 3:00 pm
